現在、アートディレクターとして(株)NKB クレアーレ現代壁画研究所に勤務 (1996〜)。主に駅、学校などの公共空間に設置されるステンドグラス、その他壁画制作に携わる傍ら、自宅アトリエにて制作を続けている。神奈川県鎌倉市在住。

1964: 新潟県に生まれる
1989: 東京芸術大学美術学部油画科卒業
1990: ステンドグラスに出会う
1991: 東京芸術大学大学院美術研究科壁画専攻修了
1991: テーマパークのデザイン、演出に携わる(〜1996)
1997: 第8回公募ステンドグラス美術展
1999: 三重大学教育学部非常勤講師としてステンドグラスを教える(同 2003, 2007)
2004: 東京藝大のガラス作家たち展 2004
個展（東京南青山ギャラリーサロン・ド・フルール）
2004−: 東京芸術大学大学院壁画研究室非常勤講師としてステンドグラスを教える

Ryushi Nakano

Presently art director at CREARE Modern Mural Institute in Atami-Yugawara, Nakano has participated in creating stained glass and other murals mainly for public space such as stations and schools since 1996 and continues to create his own work in stained glass at his home studio in Kamakura.

1964: Born in Nigata.
1989: Bachelor of Fine Arts, Tokyo National University of Fine Arts & Music, major in Oil Painting.
1990: Began working in stained glass.
1991: Master of Fine Arts, Tokyo National University of Fine Arts & Music, major in Murals.
1991: Participated in design and production of theme park Space World, Fukuoka.(−1996)
1997: Participated in The 8th Open Invitation Stained Glass Fine Arts Exhibition, International Design Center, Nagoya.
1999: Part-time instructor of stained glass at Mie University, Education Department. (Also 2003, 2006 and 2006)
2004: Exhibited at Glass Creators from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music 2004.
Solo exhibition at Gallery Salon de Fleur, Tokyo.
2004−: Part-time instructor of stained glass at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music Graduate School, Mural Laboratory.
2006: Solo exhibition at Gallery Salon de Fleur, Tokyo.
2006−: Part-time instructor of stained glass at YOMIURI NTV Culture Center, KAWASAKI.
